Daily Pet walking

Do you work during the day and poor Fido sits at home? Fresh air and exercise can do your pet good. Dogs need daily exercise and mental stimulation to stay healthy so let us help you take care of your pets health. On our dog walks we provide one on one leash walking. Every dog has different needs so we will plan time and distance to your pets’ needs. After our walks we will give your pet fresh water and a treat (if allowed).

$5 surcharge will be added to visits after 7 pm., on weekend, holidays and last minute visits scheduled less than 24 hours.

Daily visit Pet Sitting

When you’re out of town don’t worry! Keep peace and mind that your furry loved one is being fed, exercised and played with. Let your pet stay at home where they feel comfortable instead of at a kennel. Your pet feels at home because they are home! We take care of dogs, cats, fish and other small animals. While you are away we will pick up your mail, water your plants and make your house look like it’s occupied. Our dog sitting includes fresh water, feeding, and walking or playtime depending on your instructions. And our cat sitting service includes litter box cleaning, feeding and playtime. Every time our pet sitter is there we will keep a log with the time we arrived and the time we left, along with a little note so you can see how your furry baby is doing while you are away. We can also e-mail you if you wish and send photos.

Overnight Pet Sitting

We offer overnight pet sitting in your home. We will arrive about 7-9 pm when we are done with all of our pet visits for the day, and we will leave your home about 6-8 am. Please consider if you have us do overnight sitting that you also add an additional one to two midday visits. Long term overnight sitting may apply for a discount if you are away for weeks and we move in your home for the time you are out of town.

All Day Pet care

We offer All day sitting in your home. If your you and your pet prefer we provide a able body to remain on site with your pet in your home for a 20 hour a day time period. We will maintain your property and the health of your pet as if you were home with them. Daily updates with our professional will have you at easy for whatever your reason for being gone.

$5 surcharge added to visits after 7pm, weekends, holidays and for last minute visits with less then 24 hour notice.

Private Dog Boarding

We offer private boarding in our home for one to two animals. If your dog needs constant attention, or struggles with separation anxiety, we can take care of him or her in our home. To offer you this service your dog needs to be social with other dogs, be on flea and tick control as well as up to date on immunizations. Some of our pet sitters have a yard, and some of them live in a condominium. To assist you finding the best home away from home please contact us.

$10 surcharge may apply for holidays, weekends and special need dogs.

Pet Taxi Transportation Service

We offer a safe and courteous ride for your pets to and from appointments, kennels, groomers, doggie daycares, pet sitters, water therapy classes, family members, moving from one home to another new home, dog parks and beaches. We work hard to keep your pet safe and stress free on their trip.

Pet Waste Removal Service

Let our pet waste removal service take care of the most unpleasant but necessary part of dog ownership…cleaning their poop! We will clean your pets yard to keep them clean and healthy so that they can enjoy year round. Keep your yards appearance nice and keep from attracting flies and other nasty pets. Leaving pet waste in the yard can pollute ground water, and may offend the neighbors and it can even endanger the health of your dogs and your family.

We come to your yard at least once a week to clean up what your pets leave behind. We disinfect and deodorize our tools and shoes after we finish each yard to avoid cross-contamination. We will double bag and dispose of the waste properly.

House Sitting

Even if you don’t own a pet 4 Paws and a Tail can still house sit for you. While you are away we will bring in your mail, water your plants, take care of your lawn, air-conditioner, and pool. And any other errands that you might need while you are out of town. We have licensed, insured and bonded pet sitters. We can visit daily, weekly, or as often as you wish. We can even have a key available on call for your pest control, or other technicians if necessary and be on emergency call for your house alarm.

Dog Exercise (running/jogging)Service

4 Paws and a Tail really does love your pet and we want to keep your pet healthy and happy. Exercising your pet helps reduce many behavior problems associated with stress and anixiety, boredom and dogs with excess energy. When your pet is properly excercised he/she will be calmer and happier, be less likely to devolpe canine obesity, and heart, hip, and joint problems. This will help reduce and control weight, disease and increase muscle strength, and joint stability. An exercised dog is a more relaxed and happy dog in your home.

When you call we will set up a time to meet you and your dog to evaluate your pets exercise needs. We will create a customized fitness program that fits your dogs size and ability. We will pick up your dog at home and start with a warm up walk, increase to running/jogging speed and then finish with a cool down walk. During the exercise we are careful and look for signs of dehydration, fatigue or overexertion. We will provide your dog with water and clean-up service and provide you with a brief written report after each dog running session.

We usually schedule our exercise running/jogging visits in the morning or in the evening hours when temperature is the most comfortable for running your dog. We only offer regular dog running services, to make sure we build your dog’s strength gradually. We will monitor and report to you with improvement of your dog’s physical strength and endurance.

Dog Water Therapy Service

We will also set up 30 minute to 1 hour water therapy sessions for your dog. Water therapy sessions are done in a safe, heated and clean pool with a experienced instructor. We will help set up appointments associated with water exercise/therapy and transport to and from visits. This is a Wonderful exercise program for your dog and is sure to relieve pain and help reduce obesity and build muscle and strengthWe will also report to you your dogs water therapy sessions. 4 Paws and a Tail recommend a local Water Therapy clinic and does not own or operate water therapy classes.

Water therapy sessions: $25 pet taxi pricing plus price of water therapy session.
